Many of our guests had never been inside a refinery before, yet they vote on legislation that affects our industry. This tour was an opportunity for us to share our story and showcase our diversity and multiple talents. Our day included visits to the CCR, Hydroprocessing/Unit 250 and the future home of the Rodeo Renewed Pre-Treatment Unit (Unit 235 patio). The expression, “many hands make light work", describes the multi-faceted planning and volume of team members it took to pull this off. Thank you to everyone that had a hand in organizing this successful visit, and to our multiple presenters for explaining our business, the Rodeo Renewed project, and answering many great questions while representing the industry and Phillips 66 so well.
