If you are targeting the big tarpon, ever day on the water is another chance for the fish of a lifetime, and there is no substitute for time on the water! Serious trophy fishermen and weekend warriors will pursue giant and “baby” Tarpon, along with the usual offshore Jacks, Barracuda and Snook. Fly anglers love the combination of great casting conditions and incredible fish, and spin fishermen revel in the quantity of fish including Snook, Barracuda, Jacks, Corvina, Cobia, some Permit and giant, juvenile and baby Tarpon. The majority of our fishing is done with fly rods, but we have extensive spin fishing options as well. On fishing days, 2 anglers and their guide will depart early (6 am) for the fishing grounds. Weather and your guide will determine if its best offshore or in the lagoons. Summer season (May 1 through September 30) focuses on the big migrating Tarpon and the resident baby and juvenile population. Winter season (October through April) focuses on the juvenile and baby Tarpon (no giants) along with all other species in the protected Mangrove Lagoons.
