Jefferson is a 3-year-old, neutered Labrador Retriever/- Shepherd mix. While he has a laid- back, easy going personality, he is by no means a couch potato. Jefferson enjoys going on walks and spending quality time with his two-legged friends. He is good with other dogs and is even rumored to be good with cats! While he is a big boy, he is pretty good on leash. He likes to lead, but he doesn’t tug. His one issue—and the rea- son he has not been able to make it out of Animal Control to the adoption floor at the Humane Society of the North Bay in Vallejo—is that he is has Harry Houdini’s prowess as an escapologist. While this may not be a big issue after he has bonded with his owner, at least initially, he will need to find a home with a secure yard, preferably with someone that can spend time with him during the day.
