Our program is geared towards the needs of every child 6 and up. Plain white uniforms are required and can be purchased online or through the instructor for an additional fee. Kathryn supplies the instruments, instruction and opportunity for everyone to engage in a lively and spontaneous way, regardless of ability. We’ve combined the best of both Mindful Movement and Mindful Music to share mindfulness practices and meditation strategies that decrease stress, encourages healthy attachment, and emotional self-regulation for children and their caregivers. Each Class has a minimum of 15 children; minimum must be met for class to occur. The maximum capacity of each class is 20 children. Our class offers a friendly environment to have some fun and to break a sweat. It is designed for all levels and no partners are needed. This class is offered yearround. Day & Time: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 10:00am – 11:30am Fee: $6 drop-in fee $60 discounted monthly fee Ballet and Tap Dance Class by Motion Dynamics Company Description: Ballet and tap techniques are combined within each class. The focus is on creating positive self-confidence and increasing body awareness and coordination, while discovering the joy of dance. Sessions are on-going in six week increments. The American Heart Association supports square dancing as a lifelong activity! Square dance attire is not required for classes. Class is hosted by the Twin City Steppers, who have been dancing since 1954. The class dances to all types of music for fun and fellowship.
